The Pharma Supply Chain (PSC) is responsible for making and supplying GSK's pharmaceutical products around the globe. Our network consists of 30 sites in 18 countriesand approximately 16,000 employees. In 2019 GSK produced around 2.3 billion packs of medicine. The PSC is at a turning point. GSK is developing an exciting pipeline of specialty medicines at a time when technology is transforming what is possible in pharmaceutical manufacturing. As our new Communications Director (Content Planning & Editorial), you will be accountable for working across the communications team to create a unified content strategy and calendar plan. We are looking for a highly organised strategic planner with the credibility to advise and influence. Experience in the creation of content strategies and channel development is desirable, as is someone with a fresh approach, natural curiosity and ability to influence stakeholders. These responsibilities include some of the following: Channel management and development * Manages the PSC's internal employee channels including plasmas, workplace, leader cascade, SharePoint, email, Microsoft teams and physical assets * Oversees events and channels designed to engage our leadership population, including our annual conference, online portal and quarterly calls * Ensures the PSC is making best possible use of GSK's global * Coordinates our Communications network (site communicators at our factories). Ensures the network is engaged and continually improves their capability and performance * Continuously improves and develops all our channels by: * Identifying barriers to efficacy and overcoming them * Seeking out leader and employee input and insights on channels to improve them * Pulling in outside GSK ideas to enhance our channels Planning * Leads all editorial planning across PSC communications, making sure there is full alignment across our content and with GSK's corporate calendar. * Manages the editorial calendar and has a holistic view of all content from an audience perspective. * Continuously improves the PSC's communication planning processes and drives consistent use of the tools and templates across the team. Evaluation * Works with the other members of the management team to set objectives and KPIs for all activities * Establishes processes for evaluating and reporting the impact of activities, using both qualitative and quantitative data and data analytics * Reinforces a culture of evaluation in the team, acting as an ambassador for the use of data and insight to inform planning and drive continuous improvement APPLICATION CLOSING DATE - 21st June 2020 Please take a copy of the Job Description, as this will not be available post closure of the advert.
