Our beautiful office is located in a co-working space Fora Space, 71 Central Street London EC1V 8AB. We're looking for a HR Generalist to join the the HR Department, led by Marta Abalos. You will be responsible for the local HR in the UK offices. To ensure success, you should exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management and training. It is also very important to have analytical and communication skills. You will be expected to be a conceptual thinker with excellent organisational and conflict management skills. You will have problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities * Assist with all internal and external HR related matters - global remit. * Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations * Participate in implementing organizational guidelines and procedures. * Recommend strategies to motivate employees together with the Office Manager * Implement and administer employee policies and Identify ways to improve policies and procedures * Support investigations for complaints brought forward by employees, prepare documentation and severance letters * Perform onboarding and update records of new staff. * Manage the organization's employee database and prepare reports. * Support the HR department in analysing and implementing programs to help improve the employee experience * Assist with budget monitoring and payroll and benefits management * Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice. Requirements * Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related (essential). * 3 years of experience as an HR Coordinator (essential). * Performance management experience (essential) * Experience developing and managing career growth frameworks (essential) * Experience with people analytics (essential) * Experience using the latest people/HR/collaboration tech stack (Peakon, BambooHR or similar, Lattice, cofluence etc) * Efficient HR administration and people management skills. * Excellent record keeping skills. * Fantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. * Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines. * Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software. * Fantastic organisational and conflict management skills. * Strong decision-making and problem solving skills. * Meticulous attention to detail. * Strong interest in Startups or experience in Startups Benefits * Competitive salary and bonus * Lunch paid for every day (in value up to 10) at work and all the free drinks/snacks you can handle * Monthly gym allowance (in value up to 40) to use in any gym or for any sport class - a healthy mind in a healthy body! * Annual company offsite - Ibiza this year! * Private health care provided by AXA (including dental and optical) * Pension taken care of through a partnership with Royal London * Work in an international, dynamic and passionate environment with a great company culture. * Lunchtime sports: frequent yoga, 5 a side football Fridays, squash Thursdays and Meditation!
