Job Description
We are looking for a customer-obsessed, results driven EU leader for a new transportation service we built within Amazon Last Mile. You will directly own an interesting portfolio of products, achieving our speed goals, strategy functions and need to coordinate across ops, product, and tech partners to deliver an end-to-end solution for your customers. Our team has big, ambitious goals for growing rapidly in this space in the upcoming years. We have desire to act as truly global team and this role needs to drive thought leadership across continents. The role is the single threaded leader in defining speed/reliability/coverage inputs that drive our shipping product offering. Plan ties to targeted customer segments, and financial/volume plans for next 3 years. Also owns product roadmap for network topology simulation/planning tools to increase automation/scalability over time (including geo and services expansion to all countries in EU). Would partner with Ops POC on execution of network design, and DEA goals. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter and is comfortable conceptualizing and leading complex initiatives from end to end. You should have proven experience in strategy, product development, large-scale execution, entrepreneurial innovation, working cross functionally with operations and engineering teams, and people leadership. This role requires comfort in ambiguous situations and maintaining a high bar in a high pressure, dynamic environment.
