Communications Senior Director Sales Transformation Location: London A competitive salary is offered Posting date: 22nd May 2020 Please send your resumes until 19th June 2020 Description We are looking for an exceptional Communications Senior Director Sales Transformation who will bring in story-telling, marketing, communications, employee engagement and brand-building skills and strategies to further our transformation goals and lead a team of 30-40 communications professionals and specialists across the EMEA region. She/he will work with Executives from across the Cloud Applications and Technology business in Europe & Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) to develop and drive programs and campaigns that enable our sales teams to win with confidence. You will need to be able to handle multiple priorities and address key business challenges with senior stakeholders from different departments. We need someone that has led transformation projects and developed strategy as well as someone who can interpret business challenges and make meaningful communications planning for the EMEA Executive leadership team. What You'll Do * Develop overall messaging for the Executive (EVP, SVP and VP) in EMEA - including narratives, themes and message houses that power all story-telling, internal marketing and communication campaigns * Build leadership brand and voice internally and on social media * Support global transformation programs with region-wide marketing and communications to employees * Develop innovative initiatives and campaigns to create the right culture and change behavior * Identify new opportunities of creating engagement and influence * Develop and implement annual plans and calendars for all engagement initiatives and projects * Manage a team of 30-40 Communications managers, experts and specialists Required Skills/Experience * Extensive experience in Communications (External, Internal and Transformation) including - Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, Employer branding, Content Development, Employee Engagement and Change Communications * Proven Managerial experience of leading teams and leading through managers * Extensive hands-on experience in writing, story-telling and brand-building * Ability to manage senior stakeholder expectations, develop relations and network strongly * Strong understanding of the technology industry - specifically Cloud * Good understanding of new media and trends of media use - including video, apps, blogs, mobile * Strong understanding of and experience in social media brand building * Ability and willingness to balance the strategic and the execution * Experience in agency and corporate a plus * Direct experience of running social media marketing and branding is a plus * Demonstrated initiative in an unstructured environment with multiple projects & priorities Development of communication programs to promote Oracle's products & services. Develop and implement corporate communication plan within own business area to ensure achievement of short and long term business objectives, increased profit and market control. Be an active member of the global Marketing team to ensure consistency of marketing campaigns and messages. Disseminate key corporate information to the line-of-business and geography operations pertaining to new product development/launches. Actively develop new approaches and opportunities for expanding company business base. Act as a liaison with senior management to ensure that marketing activities are in support of sales plans. Direct marketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate marketing mix for the line-of-business and/or the geography. Ensure consistency between global directions and line-of-business/single-geography implementation choices. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns on a line-of-business/geographical basis. Maintain necessary contact with major suppliers, agencies, customers, industry associations and government representatives to achieve marketing objectives. Provide effective performance management: set clear goals for all staff, provide regular feedback on performance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscal year. Manage the activities of the staff according to overall marketing strategies and budgets. Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs. Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Software business management experience. Sales and Marketing experience in the IT industry. E-business Internet practical know-how. Proven ability to manage budget, approval processes, resource allocations. Professional credentials in Marketing, Academic credentials desirable. Past experience in Sales desirable. As part of Oracle
