Who are you? You will be an experienced reporting analyst, ideally having had minimum 2 years experience working within Financial/trend/business/sales analysis. You will be used to working in an autonomous role and will have experience at managing your own workflow. You will have a proven track record within an analytical role and have a degree-level education in maths, science or an IT related subject. You will be working within a fast paced role within a small team so you will be a strong team player and as a central point of the team you will be required to influence senior stakeholders so you must be a strong and effective communicator. Requirements What you will be doing: This is a high-profile role based around evolving a business that is already growing rapidly and in which your analysis will play a critical role in future planning. As a key member of a small team your will be responsible for: Developing and delivering daily/weekly/monthly deliverables/standard reports and ad hoc reporting and analysis for: o Insurance Product and panel Performance and risk o Marketing performance o Sales Team Performance o General management information and KPIs Working to priorities received from the business in order to contribute to the achievement of objectives, service levels and provide in-depth analysis for relevant stakeholders Quickly acquiring a detailed understanding and knowledge of the reporting and analysis tools used by operations and support Maintain accuracy and integrity of reporting and analytical tools as per defined work flow and test procedures Supporting the production of regular management information and performance measures. Assisting with testing of various new tool and troubleshooting / defect fixing of any existing tools as and when required using root cause analysis Delivering business critical standard reporting and responding to ad hoc queries surrounding these reports. Creating ad hoc reporting and analysis throughout month using SQL and Excel as tools to provide raw data Producing accurate MI data, interpreting the data by offering further insights and understanding to the various business teams (Marketing, Operations, Pricing and Finance). Communicating with the client using ongoing analysis and recommendations, to enable them to make necessary changes to product coverage, business processes, pricing, marketing strategies and sales techniques What we would like you to have: Expert experience of using Excel including VBA and / or other statistical analysis Knowledge and experience of extracting large data sets using SQL Knowledge of working with vast amounts of data retaining accuracy Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure Expert influencer with experience at communicating findings from complex data Strong decision maker A desire to innovate and introduce new ideas that will benefit the business In addition it would be great if you had: Knowledge and experience of building and deploying reports within an automated report-scheduling system (preferably JasperSoft, but training will be provided) Experience of the insurance market will be considered an advantage Benefits Fantastic working environment Long term and stable career in a progressive environment Full and in-depth product training Highly competitive salary package
