As an Associate Process Leader you'll be positioned to work alongside existing Process Leaders to gain proficiency in manufacturing processes (i.e. formulation, manufacturing, filling, packaging). You will also gain experience of supporting processes such as deviation management and Implementation of Manufacturing Excellence. Responsibilities: Working in a highly regulated environment you will understand relevant policies, procedures, laws, regulations and codes of business. You will ensure that they are adhered to both personally and by those you will work with. Whilst you will not manage large teams directly, you will gain exposure to the nature of line management and develop your knowledge and experience in management activities. You will develop technical proficiency in the direct production processes and the supporting processes such as completing deviations and implementing robust corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. You will enhance your understanding of manufacturing excellence or lean principles and have an opportunity to utilise the tools in practice to embed this knowledge With the opportunity to actively participate in local projects you will build on your project skills and network with new contacts. Highly inquisitive, you will be encouraged to seek out and deliver continuous improvement projects. Responsible for driving the day-to-day performance of defined processes in terms of adherence to plan, operational standards, cost, asset, cGMP and safety (SHE). Requirements: + A science/engineering degree or equivalent qualification. + A strong desire to develop as a people manager + Passionate about developing coaching and leadership skills + Experience of working within a highly compliant or cGMP environment + You will grow to coach and embed Lean Manufacturing Principles. + Experience within pharmaceutical operational or Chemistry/Micro based roles would be advantageous + Ability to successfully contribute to teams and/or lead others in a matrix environment e.g. in projects, team meetings or improvement work.
