We are now recruiting for two Associate Improvement Engineers within the our department our Engineering department to work across several areas covering polymer manufacture, clean / sterile manufacture as well as primary and secondary packing. Responsibilities This is a relatively new role within the team, joining two other recent recruits, and is a stepping stone to becoming an Improvement Engineer. However, the role is not simply shadowing and learning as the successful candidates will bring with them technical expertise that has an immediate benefit to the team and the projects that they deliver. Whilst applying existing knowledge, as an Associate Improvement Engineer you will, in return, develop the qualification and project management skills required to deliver small to medium scale asset improvement initiatives within the department. Essential Requirements: * Relevant technical/engineering qualification (or appropriate experience) * Experienced in delivering small equipment/process improvements including applying change controls * Experience executing equipment qualification and validation * Technical support within a manufacturing environment including structured root cause analysis * Technical report writing & generation * Ability to pick up and apply new technology to make process or procedure improvements Desirable Requirements: * Experience within a sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environment * Experience writing equipment qualification and validation documentation * At AstraZeneca when we see an opportunity for change, we seize it and make it happen, because any opportunity no matter how small, can be the start of something big.
