Head of Product Development - Accreditation & Insights About Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC is a global, multi-brand information business which provides critical data, price reporting, insight, analysis and must-attend events to financial services, commodities, telecoms and legal markets. The company's headquarters are in London with more than 20 other offices around the world. Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC is divided into five key divisions. One of these is the "Banking & Finance" Division. This division is made up of 3 leading brands - Euromoney (hereafter "Euromoney"), Global Capital and IMN. The Banking & Finance division employs over 200 people, in 4 global offices and has revenues in excess of 60m. Product highlights include annually: + Euromoney's Awards for Excellence - the awards that matter to the banks and bankers who matter. Receives over 1,500 submissions + World's largest events for structured finance professionals at IMN events + 20,000 attendees at Euromoney Live Events + Publishes 100+ interviews with Bank CEO's, Central Governors and Ministers of Finance + 10,000 participants (from Graduates to Board members) on its transformative learning programs + 250,000 website visitors each month on Euromoney.com + Providing multi-platform marketing services for many Tier 1 Banks About the Role Euromoney is a business to help banks improve themselves, achieve their strategic objectives, and communicate their strengths to their peers and clients. We do this by way of accrediting and benchmarking the banks against their peers. Including the production of industry leading benchmark polls and surveys covering cash management, trade finance, foreign exchange and fixed income research. Annually these draw over 50,000 respondents and banks across the globe use this analysis (both qualitative and quantitative) to make better decisions. For example: + Euromoney 2018 Cash Management Poll had over 25,000 respondents highlighting the top providers of cash management and detailed customer satisfaction rankings of Banks in over 50 countries + The 2018 Euromoney FX Survey was the 40th annual survey of the global FX markets - with responses representing total FX consumption of $46.87 trillion Euromoney is looking to further enhance its product offering in this area and hence has developed this new strategically important role within the business. The individual will be responsible for defining and building the company's next generation products that will accelerate and complete Euromoney's transition from a traditional publisher. The role will report to the Managing Director and COO for Euromoney. Key Priorities & Responsibilities: + Develop market leading accreditation & insight products - products that provide banks and their clients with actionable insights and help them 'bank better' + Lead customer-focused innovation - frequently meeting with banks (and their clients) to understand how we can enhance the value of our existing products and also identify the demand for new ones + Conduct market, competitor and customer research to gather insight and assess new market opportunities + Create business plans for new products and convincingly make the case for investment + Review Euromoney's existing awards, surveys and polls and data products and recommend enhancements that increase their value to our clients and/or their engagement + Understand the true value to our clients of our products and produce pricing (or new business models) that accurately reflects this value + Create prototypes/MVP and ensure testing of product concepts + Successfully manage research team ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all our products + Provide support to sales and marketing teams (e.g. providing SME on sales calls with clients that we are looking to produce bespoke research for - or helping increase engagement with our products) + Work with Information Technology team on development and enhancement of all products Candidate Background + Proven track record as a product manager with experience of successfully launching new research and data products + Very good understanding of research and data business models and pricing thereof + Ideally the candidate will bring direct experience of managing similar products within the financial services industry. Experienced in delivering high value and high impact business information services + Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and agility + A collaborative and confident manager, who can demonstrate gravitas and credibility + Used to being the public face of an organisation, confident developing and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences + Strong analytical and
