Job Description

Head of Managed Application Services - EMEA This management level position has overall responsibility for the delivery of SAS' Managed Application Services within EMEA region. The Managed Application Services team is a global delivery team that is tightly matrixed with other regional service delivery Centers of Excellence and global resource hubs. This management level position will work with the other global leaders to ensure the consistency of the overall customer delivery. The daily activities of this team include SAS Enterprise software deployment and upgrades, configuration and integration, system administration, monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, configuration and change management, security management and monitoring, capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery and routine update of services. + Leading Technical Account Managers, Project Managers, Technical Architects, Systems Administrators, and Hosting Engineers + Ensures timely liaison with Cloud Providers regarding service issues + Works with the global leadership team to establish strategies related to Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Services throughout the enterprise ensuring all aspects of the service delivery and cost curves are closely managed + Drives the adoption Managed Application Services within the EMEA region + Five years or more of commercial, customer-facing service delivery. + Professional with experience leading large complex enterprise-wide infrastructure projects/programs with multiple interfaces and/or 3rd parties Skills, Experience; + DevOps automation teams using tools such as Jenkins, Openstack, Kubernetes + 3rd party Cloud and CDN Provider Experience: AWS, Azure, GCP, Akamai and/or Rackspace + Standard Infrastructure Experience: Monitoring, DNS, DHCP, Backups, and Disaster Recovery + Experience working as an Operations Manager with demonstrated success in operating mission-critical enterprise software services. + Experience leading a customer facing IT Service Delivery team + Experience launching new services and teams a plus.
