Role Summary: Operation, Installation and maintenance ofLightwell Intervention Systems and other Baker Hughes related equipment withinthe employee's discipline. Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Field Service Technician - Lightwell Intervention Systems, you will: + PerformSite Integration Testing per internal work instructions and/or projectrequirements under guidance of Field Service Supervisor (FSS) + SupportOnshore engineering with the review of operation and maintenance procedures + Attendclient meetings when required + Supportthe FSS in the installation and testing of equipment at client's worksite + Beresponsible for the operation of the Baker Hughes equipment while at the client'sworksite under the guidance of the FSS + Performthe required maintenance, testing and inventory control of the Baker Hughesequipment while at the worksite internal work instructions and/or projectrequirements under the guidance of the FSS + Supportthe completion of operational reporting documentation as per projectrequirements + Standin for the FSS when required. In addition, personnel must be able to performsimplified duties both onshore and offshore on an independent level withtraining + Promoteand ensure compliance to company and regulatory HSE requirements &expectations at all time + Promoteand ensure compliance to company and regulatory Quality management systems atall time + Assistin planning of shipping Baker Hughes equipment offshore + Abilityto safely deploy to remote geographic assignment locations - onshore andoffshore locations with limited access to medical care, which may require 4hours (or more) travel time to reach secondary level medical care Qualifications/Requirements: + Provenexperience in the operation and maintenance of Riserless and Riser basedLightwell Intervention systems and IWOCs with consideration given if alsoexperienced in Wellheads, X-trees and subsea test trees . Eligibility Requirements: + Workovertime, weekends and holidays, as required + Workin a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physicalactivities + Bein the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing andsitting, as required + Liftobjects weighing up to 50 lbs. + Besubjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time + UndergoPeriodic fitness for duty tests, examinations, and/or certifications will berequired for onshore/offshore remote location assignments + Tothe extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate aBaker Hughes owned / leased or rented vehicle for company business, you must bewilling to submit to a check of your driving record DesiredCharacteristics: + Managewritten and orally English as a working language + Basicknowledge of drilling and production processes related to Baker Hughes tools + Basicknowledge of installations processes + Beable to perform e.g. troubleshooting and repair work on the spot + PCLiterate: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other similar packages.
