Job Description
DevOps Engineer Overview We are currently seeking to hire a DevOps Engineer in our Belfast office. As a DevOps Engineer you will be working as part of the Product Engineering team. You will be driving forward our ability to build, deploy and release Cygilant products like SocVue. As such you will have technical ownership to ensure stability in our automated pipeline, be at the forefront of building and maintaining our release strategy, to ultimately deliver excellent quality products for our customers. Primary Responsibilities + Hands-on managing of the pipeline and release strategy for the core Product suite + Managing releases throughout our various environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production) + Liaising across teams like QA, Product Management and Security Operations to ensure all aspects of CI/CD are implemented Required Skills + Strong experience with AWS + Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) + Strong analytical and communication skills + Strong experience with SCM (git) + Experience with Docker and working with containers Desired Skills and Competencies + Experience with Relational and NoSQL database systems (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Cassandra, MongoDB) + Experience in scripting (bash, python) + Experience with messaging and stream protocols (like Kafka) + Experience with high-availability and load balancing + Experience with Microservice architecture + Experience in programming (Java, Javascript) + Experience in working in various agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) Company Overview At Cygilant we believe that every organization, regardless of size, deserves an enterprise-class cybersecurity program.
