Senior Devops Lead
Overview
Job Description
The Lead DevOps Engineer will report to the Senior Engineering lead of DevOps Engineering and will be a member of Core DevOps Engineering team establishing DevOps practices within Equities. We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer that will help our team establish DevOps practice. You will work closely with the Senior Manager of Development, Solutions Architects, Developers and Product Owners to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company. You will establish a consistent delivery pipeline, configuration management, automate our infrastructure, implement continuous integration and continuous delivery across multiple products, and train the team in DevOps best practices to achieve a continuously deployable system. Extremely strong Java and Linux skills is a must. Contribute to the core design of our tech architecture, deployment model, tooling and Engineering and act as an DevOps evangelist for broader adoption of DevOps practice Experience in Implementing CI/CD pipeline across multiple types of software applications and infrastructure at an department/Business unit level Solid understanding of Microservices and APIs Experience implementing continuous monitoring, Continuous testing and continuous deployment standards. Experience of the full software delivery lifecycle and working in complex enterprise environments Configuration Management experience such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar. Strong grasp of container technology including container orchestration with tools such as Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker Swarm, Nomad or similar Ability to present Architectural designs and decisions in a visual form to leadership and team. Strong knowledge of AWS is preferred. Bonus points for experience with Terraform, Python and Harness Citi Canada is an equal opportunity employer.
