There is potential for a longer term contract in the future. Job Description At Third Space Learning, we pride ourselves on our pedagogy rich, knowledge focused and well-structured resources. We are looking for someone who feels equally as passionate about mathematics as us. As a Curriculum Resource Content Producer, you will be working on resources suitable for the Mathematics National Curriculum. It is essential that you will have experience teaching in England across the primary age range. You will create and develop innovative resources to address the Mathematics National Curriculum as well as error check existing resources. The hours can be worked whenever suits you, as long as the work is completed by the given deadline. As this position is not based in our offices, you will need to provide your own device to work on and a reliable, high-speed internet connection. We are looking for working teachers (including part-time teachers and supply teachers), who are able to complete these tasks in addition to their teaching, or someone who has recently left the profession. It will be your responsibility to submit your invoices and manage your own tax. Responsibilities : * Write developmentally appropriate, well-structured, pedagogically rich resources as directed by the Maths Resource Producer. * Identify topics where content needs to be added or improved. Core Skills: * Detailed knowledge of the Mathematics National Curriculum. * Ideas and insight into what primary teachers want and need in maths, and how to execute this. * Excellent communication skills and excellent ICT skillIs. * Organised, able to work to deadlines and manage time effectively. * Honest, trustworthy and reliable. * Produce quality work and are ready to learn new skills. Requirements * An accredited teaching degree, such as a Bachelor of Education (Primary), or a combined or double degree such as a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education (Primary) * Or - An undergraduate degree (such as Bachelor of Arts or Science) and an accredited graduate entry teaching degree such as a PGCE. * A minimum of 2 years of active teaching in a primary school. Desired: * Understanding of a mastery approach to maths teaching * Experience finding and using maths resources online * Up to date knowledge of the latest trends and research in maths teaching * Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 * Maths subject leadership experience * Experience working with a range of maths schemes of work To apply, you will need to provide two example resources you have created. * 1 x Y2 Maths resource * 1 x Y6 Maths resource Benefits * 15/hour * Fully flexible working * Potential for a full time role in future * Improve educational outcomes for children around the world * Contribute to reducing workload for teachers around the world
