The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Global Fund Services within Equities Securities Services Technology group (ESST) are currently undergoing major transformation initiatives across the Fund services group. Involving multiple migration activities to enhance our service offerings for major fund service clients across the globe. The current opening is for a talented developer with a passion for data who has relevant experience in data integration technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering both batch and real-time solutions using vendor or open source toolsets and be capable of working in a fast paced environment within a busy technology team. The candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple reporting lines and business sectors. The role will require a keen attention to detail to analyze complex business requirements and deliver robust scalable solutions all within agreed timescales. Therefore experience in requirements analysis, work estimation and a track record in production delivery is essential. The role will also include L3 support for our production support group servicing securities, funds and transfer agency interfaces across the globe. + Recent professional experience in data integration using variety of toolsets, building batch and real-time solutions + Strong SQL skills with experience of Oracle, MSSQL + Strong Linux/Shell Scripting + Experience using queue based technologies (IBM>MQ/TIBCO>EMS/ActiveMQ/Kafka) + Experience with Spark SQL / Spark structured streaming an advantage + Experience with Elasticsearch or equivalent technologies would be an advantage + Experience using attlasian product suite (JIRA/CONFLUENCE/BITBUCKET) + Experience using Jenkins or equivalent continuous-integration pipelines + SDLC experience (GIT + CI a plus) + Experience with technology in finance with securities and asset management preferred + 3rd Level qualification preferred **What we Offer:** As well as a competitive salary and consideration for a yearly discretionary bonus Citi offer; + 23 days paid annual leave + Award winning pension scheme, + Life assurance and + Private medical insurance with Bupa healthcare.
