Job Description

Supply Chain Planner FTC 6months The role: * Procurement planning for 3rd party raw materials for all UK sites. * Ensure RM usage trend is in line current procurement plan * Drive initiative to reduce the inventory pipeline and increase turns performance of the portfolio * Main point of contact for process improvement related to Compounding RM procurement * Accountable for service level targets for these supply chains * Accountable for achievement of inventory performance targets for these supply chains * React with velocity to customer forecast and demand changes * Ensure all items required for product lifecycle (Launch/End of Life) are forecasted in partnership with the forecast lead * Manage multiple suppliers and supply chains * Utilise procurement master scheduling model to develop plan * Develop procurement plan to meet demand * Translate operational plan into financial inventory plan to feed cash-flow planning and ensure achievement of plan * Proactively communicates supply risk to project team together with proposed solutions * Works with Supply Chain manager and countries in case of pipeline blockages to re-define priorities * Occasionally travel to other UK Baxter sites About you: * 5 or more years of related experience in an International environment as a Supply Chain Planner (within a manufacturing environment ideally) * Be a self-starter and know their role and responsibilities within the team * Demonstrated ability to independently develop, manage and implement aggressive project plans * Ability to work under strict deadlines and changing priorities without supervision * Good understanding of all aspects of Supply Chain such as Planning, Logistics and Network optimisation * Thrive in a dynamic and constantly changing environment * Able to influence the wider deployment team through clear fact based communication * Feel confident in pushing back on other functions and highlighting issues that could impact them * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * Certified Six Sigma Green Belt desired but not essential * Technical system skills (Microsoft Office, ACCESS, Cognos, JDE) * University degree in Supply Chain Management desired but not essential Who we are: Baxter touches millions of lives every day.
