If so then this is an exciting time to join the Technology Services team at Direct Line Group as we're looking for curious minds, status-quo challengers and critical thinkers who will bring a fresh perspective to our team. As part of Technology Services function here at DLG you will work closely with our Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Security Architects, Service Architects, Data Architects, security specialists and other technical teams. If you are forward thinking, passionate about customer outcomes and driving change across the IT value chain - then come and join us based out of our Head Office in Bromley (just 20 minutes direct from London, Victoria). Who you'll be working with: Enterprise Architecture work across the organisation primarily outside of the Delivery framework at the point of idea generation and early proof of concept work. We are focused on providing direction on how best to use technology to achieve our business goals; which means we look at how people, process, technology and data best work together and don't focus solely on the technology. Our deeper understanding of technology is a valuable contribution to these early discussions. Solution Architecture is responsible for defining solution architectures and creating end to end solution designs for IT projects. We lead the way in healthy, sustainable and trustworthy architecture, which forms a base from which our business will be able to innovate and grow. Our Solution Architects and Designers work closely with business stakeholders, Technology Services teams, CISO, Technology Partners and third parties to identify options and get agreement on solutions. Our aim is to ensure that solutions will satisfy the project requirements, taking account of project and operational cost constraints. We also ensure that designs are aligned with strategies and architectural standards. Service Architecture is accountable for service strategy, design and service introduction functions, ensuring our service model is fully aligned to the Technology Services IT Strategy. This group performs an important role in acting as the gatekeeper for anybody who wants to introduce a new service into our 'Production Environment' - our role is to help projects understand what they need to do in order for them to effectively introduce and deliver changes to our business systems.
