Job Description
RoleSummary: This role will support Surface Pressure Control products and services workload locally and globally when required, through engineering execution and actively contribute to the technical development and success of the Engineering Department. They are also to interact with the other departments to optimize OTD and on occasion support our facility in Altens gaining physical product exposure. EssentialResponsibilities: + HSE + Ensure HSE complianceat all times + Ensure 100% HSEtraining conducted on time + Report any HSE issues + Operational + Responsible for theirquality of the work performed in the department + Responsible for theirOTD on all assigned scopes + Log activity of thetasks assigned and take ownership in follow up and on time delivery + Competence development + Ensure 100% on timemy learning training + Create yearlyindividual training plan together with Manager + Follow through onagreed training plan + Knowledge /experiencesharing within the department + Technical + Support CTR process and scoping of Surface Pressure Controlengineering activities, when needed + Technical support function for Surface PressureControl Projects & Products + Design and modify mechanical products, wellhead,Valve, XT, tools and related equipment + Survey and non-conformance disposition + Proficient in Mechanical codes and calculations (API6A, API 6X, ASME BPVC Section VIII), Mathcad software + Recommend solutions and improvements to meet technicaland project/product requirements + Customer contact - technical clarifications andmeetings + Verification of third-party procedures, drawings anddocuments + Review customer requirements, handle deviations tocustomer specifications + Responsible for preparing equipment documentsincluding drawings, design verification packages, Bill of Materials and userdocumentation + Assisting assembly and testing + Risk assessment, studies and SoW creation + Experience with Creo 3 (Pro NC proficient), ACAD, 3Dmodels, tolerance stack ups and detail activities + Derive models for use in analysis + Ability to problem solve a document RCA's Qualifications/Requirements: + MEng or BEng in MechanicalEngineering or equivalent experience + Knowledge of API 6A andInternational & National Regulations + Experience with Surface Wellheadand Flow Control Equipment design & operation + Experience in mechanical hardwaredesign and development + Ability to work independently,gain progress and efficient solution + Excellent English communicationskills both oral and written + Strong skill to work in a globaland cross-functional environment + Willingness to take ownership andresponsibility + Proficient in 2D/3D CAD software.
