Electrical Design Engineer / Programmer Location - Blackburn Job Type - Permanent - Full Time Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week Salary up to £45,000 Our client, a highly specialist niche engineering company with sites and workshops across the length and breadth of the UK are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer / Programmer for a permanent position within the company. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Working on the design of Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems for the client's comprehensive range of products and solutions to meet their customers challenging requirements. This is a great opportunity to work on a wide-range of projects within a truly exciting and progressive industry. Other responsibilities of this fantastic Electrical Design Engineer role include: The ability to produce schematic drawings of control systems Problem solve Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems when required. Compilation of Bills of Materials (BoMs) and design release documentation Produce efficient and structured PLC programmes (Codesys) Ability to work to agreed timescales, budgets and constraints. You must also have the ability to Be Capable of deciphering technical information Be Proficient in relevant IT systems and software packages including AutoCAD Produce basic electrical engineering calculations to validate designs A strong understanding of relevant ISO 9001 Adhering to: Engineering Standard Operating Procedures Health and Safety Legislation Company policy and procedures Requirements: BSc.
