**Role Summary:** The Aptara MCS Valve Engineer will be an responsible for all aspects of valve engineering on Aptara Program. **Essential Responsibilities:** Execute discipline responsibility within valve engineering Focal point and technically responsible for valves and valve engineering for Aptara Program Promote technical excellence within team and support team through design review participation, lessons learned awareness, and technical innovation Work cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables, and to ensure experience transfer / lessons learned Attend concept and design reviews for Aptara Manifold Program Review specifications and standards and prepare all relevant specifications for Aptara Program. Communicate effectively both within immediate team and across MCS organization. **Qualifications/Requirements:** MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering Strong experience within the subsea industry -preferably with valves and actuators. Experience within one or more disciplines; Mechanical design or Design of offshore and/or Subsea piping/valve systems. In depth knowledge of materials, welding and manufacturing processes and assembly processes In depth knowledge to rules and regulations within the Oil & Gas industry ( ISO, ASME , API) Strong analytical skills combined with excellent problem solving skills Highly proactive and results oriented, ability to influence others and create cohesive groups English fluent verbal and written PC proficiency Applications from job seekers who require sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications.
