Job Title: Project Site Manager Location: Scarborough, YO12 7TN Company Background Weir Minerals Europe is part of the Weir Group PLC, the business has been established for over 100 years and is a world leader in the design and manufacture of pumps, valves, cyclones, vibrating screen machines, crushers and other associated equipment for the mining and minerals processing industries. The Role We are currently looking for a dynamic Project Site Manager to join the Project team on a 3 months contract with a view to extending. The post holder will be responsible for the effective control of contractual terms across all territories protecting Weir Minerals Europe from unacceptable risk. Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities will include the following to ensure: + Weir Standard terms and Conditions are employed wherever possible + 3-5 years' experience in site (project management) of construction sites + Civil Engineering / Mining / Tunneling / Construction engineer background + Strong communication skills + Experience with 3rd party contractors + Knowledge of planning and organization of work at sites (material, people, tools and machines) + UK based + Service oriented + ave good leadership aptitude with well-developed interpersonal skills + Innovative and adaptable + Ability to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines + Positive attitude and approach + Awareness and knowledge of SAP + Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programmes (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) Experience and Qualifications + Responsible for progress on site + Contact to customer at site + Daily meetings with site manager of customer + Detailed planning of work on site + Supervision of people on site + Follow up on open topics + Responsible for HES Manager and keeping track of HSE compliant work + Sign off time sheets + Local cost control + Reporting and lessons learned + Report to main Project Manager in Venlo Benefits + 25 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday + Employee Reward Scheme + Flexible working hours + Free parking ID: 2019-21538 Shift Schedule: Day Manages Others: Yes External Company Name: The Weir Group PLC External Company URL: www.weirminerals.com Street: Weir Minerals, Halifax Road, Todmorden, West Yorks
