Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP to join our Lochinch Practice. We are looking for a salaried GP to work in our Lochinch Practice. We are flexible with the hours and could split the post(s) in order to recruit the right candidate. In Lochinch Practice we have 3000 patients which are served by an experienced team including 2 salaried GPs, Advanced Practitioners, a Practice Nurse, a Healthcare Assistant and an experienced admin team. We also work with a wider multidisciplinary team consisting of district nurses, pharmacotherapy and mental health worker. We also benefit from the close proximity of the local Community Hospital and have a close working relationship with the Doctors and Staff in the Hospital. The successful applicant should be motivated to provide excellent patient care as well as taking a lead role in the ongoing development of clinical services within the practice. Stranraer is a superb location for all outdoor activities. There are a variety of stunning locations within the region and the mix of beautiful countryside with access to urban opportunities will allow the successful candidates to embrace the unique challenges and opportunities presented by rural practice.
