Job Description
Salaried General Practitioner with experience in Substance Misuse and Mental Health. Details We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and hard working GP to join the dedicated team at Marywell Healthcare Centre to provide high quality care to our patients in an environment of warmth and understanding. The ideal candidate will play an active role within the practice to contribute to the ongoing provision of high standards of service delivery and lead the team to develop and evolve patient services for the future. Marywell Healthcare Centre has a list size of around 235 patients, a number of whom have substance misuse issues and mental health needs; an interest and experience in these fields would therefore be advantageous. The team you will be working with at Marywell consists of: 1 GP (1 session per week). Advanced Nurse Practitioner (18.75 hours per week, current vacancy 18.75 hours) Practice Manager (22.5 hours per week), Community Nurse Specialist (22.5 hours per week), 2 Administrators (Job share), and Link Practitioner (2 session per week), 3 CMHN's (8 sessions per week). Alcohol and Drugs Action staff (4 sessions per week). Current requirements for working days at Marywell would be: Monday, Thursday and Friday, sessions can be varied in hours to suit but ideally must be one full day preferably a Friday.
