Role Summary: The Field Service Engineer provides offshore and onshore support to customers and BHGE for installation, maintenance, repair, operation and decommissioning of Subsea equipment and services. Essential Responsibilities: + Perform on-siteinstallation and decommissioning of BHGE systems and equipment + Providetechnical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regardinginstallation and decommissioning at customer's sites + Develop andfurther expand technical knowledge and expertise, currently recognized industrystandards for engineering ability + Maintainknowledge of applicable BHGE product lines + Plan, prepareand/or instruct both internal and external training programs as required, toimpart and perpetuate field engineering and/or product knowledge in area ofspecialization + Performadministrative functions; such as writing technical reports, orderingmaterials, securing quotations, preparing job status reports, reports tocustomers, time sheet and expense sheets on a complete timely, and thoroughbasis + Maintainknowledge of company reporting systems + Provideleadership and technical direction to customers and team members + Maintain strongsafety mindset to ensure the executed work reflects the technical requirementswithin GE safety standards + Ability totroubleshoot and react to fault resolution challenges + Ability to workalone or within a team whilst being supervised remotely is an essentialcharacteristic Qualifications/Requirements: + Bachelor's degree from anaccredited university or college or equivalent experience + Relevant A Levels or NVQsessential + Experience in a SubseaField Services Engineer role - specifically Controls, Completions and/orWellheads + Willingness and ability totravel 100% of the time at short notice - this is an ad hoc role andflexibility is essential + Must have a valid driver'slicense Applications from job seekers who require sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications.
