Job Description

+ To ensure that all installations of Black Box products are carried out in line with the Company Quality Policy with an overall focus on Continual Improvement. + Selection of correct Tools and Materials to meet the specified requirement of each job + Carry out Risk Assessment on - site + Check specification for each job undertaken + Plan installation sequence + Install Wireways (Cable tray, Conduit, Trunking) + Install cable systems + Terminate cables (Voice, Data and Fibre) + Complete and record all necessary tests and inspections + Rectify identified faults Adhere to ISO 9001.2000 Procedural Requirements + Identify and segregate Non-Conforming product + Ensure that deadlines are adhered to + Ensure that Time and Materials are used cost effectively + Complete all relevant parts of form F.008 - Job Instruction Sheet + Any other reasonable work request + Containment installation including Tray, Conduit and Trunking PVC and Metal + Safe use of Ladders/Scaffolding + Power Tools + Installation, terminating & testing of UTP and FTP Copper cabling + Installation, terminating & testing of Multimode and Single Mode Fibre cabling Other Tasks + Report writing and completion of Company paperwork + Minimum of one year's relevant experience in Electrical/Computer Network Installations + Ability to Install Terminate and Test Data cables + Knowledge of building plans and drawings + Experience of ISO 9001.2000 Quality System Person Specification Specific Aptitudes / Skills + Good physical health + Good standard of education + Literate with good writing and verbal communications skills + Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines + Excellent interpersonal skills + High self-motivation + Computer literate + Communication and writing skills + Team player Education / Qualifications + GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English + Good standard of education + Have a valid Driving License + Industry related qualifications e.g. BICSI and or CNet trained Requisition ID: 2019-2933 Street: Unit 3
