Line of Service Tax Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Data and Analytics Technologies Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary Data Science Managerfor Tax department We are looking for a highly-motivated manager candidate that is able to drive both a team of data scientists and clients' jobs, expectations and opportunities. You will have a unique opportunity to design and implement tools that help improve and optimize processes within tax for our clients and for PwC tax teams whilst to combine technical, mathematical, and business acumen. Responsibilities * Working closely with the team of experts, you will be responsible for the development of valuable solutions for PwC clients, through the implementation of statistical data modeling, programming IT systems and reporting. You will support clients in in-depth understanding of the key-drivers for their current and future success and solving the strategic and operational problems * Applying your expertise in quantitative business analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers * Effective and professional verbal and written communication with various project stakeholders. * Understanding of project team roles and pro-active contribution to overall team success. Requirements * Technical background in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field * Experience with analysis of large data sets (in particular a good knowledge of machine learning algorithms) and BigData solutions * Minimum 3 years experience with leading a team * Good knowledge of VB.NET or VBA * Working knowledge of programming languages like C#, Python, Java, Java Script would be an asset * Command of predictive analysis tools (preferred Python, R, SAS) * Willingness to learn new tools and software solutions, i. a.
