Job Description The Global Industrial Hygiene Manager will develop Industrial Hygiene (IH) and Occupational Health (OH) programs for SGS. You will identify, develop and implement global tools to ensure alignment and compliance of stakeholders with SGS systems and local regulatory requirements. You Will: * Provide IH guidance to Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) professionals and site management globally across all eight SGS business lines; * Educate on the importance of anticipation, recognition, evaluation and control of chemical, physical, biological and psycho-social stressors; * Leads development, implementation and continuous improvement of the technical Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and related aspects of the Operational Integrity management system, programs and processes globally; * Develops "fit for purpose" training plans and programs and ensures their global implementation; * Liaises directly with Regional Operational Integrity Managers and Line of Business Operational Integrity representatives to ensure that the IH, OH and related programs and initiatives meet the needs of their regions and operations; * Deploys SGS Global Operational Integrity initiatives and tools to support the related global initiatives; * Serves as the SGS subject matter expert for Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health globally; * Provides guidance for on-site industrial hygiene qualitative and quantitative assessments, evaluations of potential hazards, exposure scenarios and exposure variables; * Performs global audits, training sessions, team meetings and professional development sessions. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Public Health or related discipline; * 10+ years of Health, Safety, Environmental experience, including 5+ years of Industrial Hygiene expertise in the field; * Experience in developing and deploying IH / OH software systems such as ProcessMAP; * Comprehensive knowledge of applicable Health, Safety, Environmental regulations, concepts and trends required; * Ability to understand and interpret complex mandatory regulations and their impact on the global operation; * Fluent in English. Additional Information This position can be based at an SGS office in the UK or working remotely.
