Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Limited is looking for a EDD Analyst. This role is a contract role to provide maternity cover for approximately one year. Responsibilities: The EDD Analyst will be responsible for conducting enhanced due diligence reviews on existing higher risk customer accounts, including the following reviews: * Perform Periodic Enhanced Due Diligence review on Individual and Corporate clients and identify and escalate potential AML risks. * Review KYC documentation of higher risk corporate clients to satisfy internal procedures and request additional documentation to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements. * Ensuring Sanctions Screening, KYC and PEP's are fully investigated in line with regulatory requirements and company policies and guidelines. * Run checks in the Offshore Leaks Database and conduct public domain searches for negative information related to customers and associated entities. * Review any past or pending Regulatory inquiries related to customer account and determine if relevant to enhanced due diligence review. * Review cashiering and trading activity, including deposits, withdrawals and third-party payments, to identify suspicious activity. * Analyse and verify source of funds/wealth information through online searches or other documentation. Qualifications and Experience * Bachelor's degree or higher with a major or concentration in Finance, Law, Accounting, or Information Systems, etc. * Minimum of 2-3 years' experience and familiarity, preferably gained in a wealth or broking or corporate banking environment, with onboarding or reviewing high risk client relationships and carrying out EDD * Have a good working knowledge of UK and EU regulations EU regulations, and other countries' regulations related to AML and EDD requirements. * Ability to make risk-based decisions or recommendations and articulate those persuasively to senior management. * Prior experience in a highly automated environment and/or high degree of comfort with computers and technology. * Intermediate experience with MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.
