Job Description

We are looking for a confident, self-motivated Weddings & Events Coordinator to join our fantastic team in Shoreditch. We have an extensive portfolio of high-profile clients spanning high fashion, media and corporate industries and cover everything from canape events to sit down wedding banquets. No two days will be the same, you might be running a Fashion Week catering show one week for Alexander McQueen, and putting on a 200 person wedding the next. As the Weddings & Events Manager, you will be building proposals and catering packages based on client requirements, and managing the process right through to event delivery and management. This is both an operational and office-based job therefore we need someone with bundles of energy who can multitask like a pro! Duties: * Responding to incoming Event enquiries via email and telephone * Writing event catering proposals / meeting clients and coordinating all event detail including site visits and tastings. * Overseeing and managing invoicing and payment for the events * Responsible for the setup, management and break down of our events across London * Management of events team in office and onsite * Responsible for recording Events Sales figures * Handling the health and safety aspects of events * Reaching out to prospective clients and venues while maintaining a relationship with existing clients. Key Skills: * Essential: A natural people person with bundles of energy * Essential : Previous experience running events of all sizes and managing a team * Essential : Good knowledge of food and drinks and London Venues * Essential : Experience with Client Management * Essential : Good administrative skills with an exceptional eye for detail * Desirable : Experience managing weddings * Desirable : Experience working for an event catering company or managing the catering aspects of an event. * Desirable : Clean Driver's Licence Job Type: Full-time. Evening and weekend work will be required.
