Job Description
Supply & Demand Process Leads Location: UK (Macclesfield), Sweden (Sodertalje ), US (Gaithersburg) At AstraZeneca when we see an opportunity for change, we seize it and make it happen, because an opportunity no matter how small can be the start of something big. We currently have a number of roles available for Supply & Demand Process Leads to work across the end to end Supply Chain network. The role sits within Global Supply Chain and Strategy (GSC&S). GSC&S leads the design, planning, and development of AstraZeneca's supply chains to ensure we have the most efficient and effective ways of getting life-changing medicines to patients. They work closely with our manufacturing sites, our Global External Sourcing organisation, and many other areas of the business to ensure we use our manufacturing sites in the best way and have a joined-up approach across our global supply chain. The activities they lead include designing AstraZeneca's overall end to end supply chain strategy and establishing supply chains for new products to support successful launches. The team also leads on key strategic initiatives such as packaging strategy and product security to ensure we adhere to pharmaceutical manufacturing legislation, and lead on good supply chain practice. As the Supply & Demand Process Lead, you will be responsible for driving enterprise wide definition, design, leadership, roll out and coaching of AstraZeneca's Enterprise Demand Excellence and Supply Planning vision. You will support the definition and design of how across the Enterprise Demand & Supply processes, capabilities, technologies and organisation design need to evolve to meet the changing business landscape. Key Accountabilities: As part of this role, you will take ownership and lead, define and design the ongoing improvement of processes within the Demand & Supply Planning space. You will design and deliver the roll out, mentoring and educating requirements to embed world class Demand & Supply planning . You will also support the development of effective Demand & Supply Planning Excellence training programmes across the network. You will engage across the network to support with the delivery of a world class Demand & Supply Management vision You will produce and drive the network auditing of key network Demand & Supply planning components/activities and bring innovation by driving critical metrics and reporting which will measure and support the process performance and adherence. You will work with the Demand/Supply Global Process Owners to deliver the AstraZeneca Demand Excellence strategy and take leadership where required. Essential Requirements: + Experienced End to End Supply Network Planner + Significant SAP APO experience + Experience in SAP S/4Hana + Experience of OMP/Kinaxis or similar solution + Experienced statistical forecaster experienced in a forecasting "Centre of Excellence" type environment + Significant knowledge and/or experience in Integrated Business Planning + Significant experience in Business Process Improvement + Solid stakeholder management skills + Excellent analytical skills + Solid presentation skills + Proficient in English (written and verbal)
