Job Description
Do you have a strong background in IT Business Analysis with knowledge of Procurement? Here at AstraZeneca we're currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to simplify and transform our Purchase to Pay (P2P) process. The role holder will work across the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process which has touch points in both our Procurement & Finance organisations. The main focus will be to develop and maintain the IT elements of process in line with business strategy and requirements, initially as part of a global P2P strategy programme. Successful delivery in this role will be demonstrated by the process and technology becoming truly enabling for the organisation, whilst driving significant Procurement & Finance productivity benefits. The Senior Business Analyst will also work closely with the Architecture community to deliver on agreed priorities. The Senior Business Analyst will have deep practical experience and knowledge, having previously performed business analysis and design in a variety of complex situations, working strategically at an enterprise level on large scale business change with high levels complexity and risk. They will also possess strong interpersonal skills, setting clear direction for others, demonstrating inclusion and cultural sensitivity. The role holder will also oversee business process design and ensure that proposed solutions meet established AstraZeneca quality and compliance standards and customer experience needs. The Senior Business Analyst will also mentor other Business Analysts to develop their skills and share knowledge in relevant communities of practice. Required Skills & Knowledge + Experience of successfully deploying a variety of business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change + Previous time spent working with complex integrated systems, using creative and strategic thinking to deliver outstanding results + Strong engagement, communication and stakeholder management skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills + Understanding of the considerations when working in a regulated environment + Ability to work virtually in order to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions + Experience of mentoring, coaching or developing others + Experience of working with and managing third party suppliers/vendors + Able to manage high levels of risk by making complex judgements, developing innovative solutions and applying a comprehensive cross-functional and industry understanding. Preferred Skills & Knowledge + Degree in relevant discipline or formal certification in business analysis practice + Lean SIGMA training + Practical usage of Agile Methodology + Appreciation of the challenges of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context + Pharmaceutical sector knowledge. + Cross industry business awareness/business domain knowledge
