Global Supply Chain & Strategy (GSC&S) is responsible for driving and delivering value from AstraZeneca's product supply chains. Its focus is on maximising competitive advantage by enabling end-to-end supply chain integration and embedding Lean among Global Operations' key strategic drivers. The team is located across the UK, US and Sweden and their priorities are to optimise AstraZeneca's manufacturing and supply assets, driving supply chain performance, whilst also embedding and standardising ways of working across the Global Supply Chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with good supply chain knowledge, excellent analysis skills and project management experience, to be a key member and advocate of the Supply Chain Analytics group at AstraZeneca. What you'll do In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide Customer Service to our Key Supply Chain Partners. You will play a meaningful role in delivering and crafting the future of analytics in the supply chain organization, including creating new metrics, evaluating new solutions and approaches, and progressing the use of advanced analytics including big data, machine learning and artificial intelligence for Supply Chain. You will engage with key partners within the Analytics Function to advance the quality of analysis and business intelligence capabilities. You will develop and own improvement plans, prioritise them, and help them implemented by working with other members in the team, end users and IT team. You will be responsible for analysing different aspects of supply chain performance and evaluating opportunities for improvement. Your responsibilities will include understanding and supporting key Supply Chain planning processes, managing performance metrics, and delivering insights through detail analysis. You will support processes such as the monthly S&OP cycle and annual business planning reviews. You will partner with supply chain leaders to deliver solutions that align to business priorities both now and in the future. You will get the opportunity to work on multiple projects to implement new solutions, changes to existing BI solutions originating from changes in processes and technology, or continuous improvement. You will participate in many of the critical initiatives like Enterprise Demand Excellence, Supply Chain Digitisation, Network Strategy, Synchronisation, and the Inventory program. Essential for the role * Bachelor and master's degree, or equivalent qualification/ experience * Significant experience in a customer facing role / consultant role, supply chain and analytics position * Strong analytical capabilities and advanced Excel skills * Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Qlik, PowerBI, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, MicroStrategy) * Ability to use data to influence business decisions and drive desired behaviours * Understanding of Supply Chain concepts and experience in a Planning/Inventory/Logistics/Forecasting role * Ability to effectively present complex information to senior leaders in concise manner * Project/program management skills and experience * Ability to handle ambiguity and change both effectively and pragmatically Desirable for the role * SAP ECC and APO experience * Consulting / Supply Chain experience across multiple industries * Familiarity
