Job Description
KBR are looking to employ a senior Piping Materials Engineer with project lead experience to be based out of their Leatherhead Campus in Surrey. This is a permanent staff position. Ideal candidates would have worked on projects for major clients and have worked on onshore / offshore or LNG projects. The successful applicant could go on to become the technical focal point for Piping materials. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Knowledge and proven experience of Piping Materials roles on project ideally in a lead role managing a group of engineers within at least one of the following areas - onshore, offshore, LNG. Knowledge of Piping Materials and Valves Knowledge of Bid and requisition process Knowledge of B31.3 Degree Qualified - ideally chartered engineer PREFERRED SKILLS Knowledge of experience of working in a multi office environment BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION Under broad direction, organizes, executes, and coordinates projects and workloads. Applies advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes for the piping materials group and acts as the company technical focal point. Job role contributes directly to value creation. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and relevant working experience. Both candidates should be degree qualified and ideally chartered engineers.
