Job Description
Role Summary: The tendering engineer is responsible, at the ITO stage, for preparing and following-up quotations of field service, spare parts, repairs and replacements for motors and generators. Follows an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term objectives. Has the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. The role will play an important part in driving revenue and growth for spare parts. Essential Responsibilities: + Prepare and present customer quotations to an accurate, high standard ensuring responses meet SLA's + Full management of tenders and support for rotating machine field service, parts, repairs and replacements providing leads and customer information to the sales team as well as managing suppliers + Maintain supplier and manufacturer relationships to ensure parts meet the relevant quality standards + Maintain long-term customer relationships, providing advice on maintenance and inventory plans as well as the use of parts as required + Provide and maintain accurate data and records to understand customer and market trends Qualifications/Requirements: + HNC / HND in an engineering discipline.Applications from job seekers who require sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications.
