The hours for the role are: any 4 in in 7 shifts - 2 on nights and 2 on days All About You The Supervisor role will be fully accountable for a zoned area such as In feeds, Out feeds, Manual Sortation or International/Relabel, Returns & Assets. The purpose of this role is to manage and monitor performance, compliance, Health & Safety and hygiene in allocated Zones. You will utilise all M.I reports to ensure service levels and SLAs are achieved both client and Hubs and be responsible for accurate reporting and building plans for improvements to Shift Managers You'll have accountability for specific tasks such as: * Ensure productivity levels are maximised on Inbound / Outbound areas through KPI management * Achieve the highest possible throughput via automated sorters * Monitor and implement safe trailer loading with a view to removing any possible damage to customer orders but still optimising trailer fills * Carry out daily yard checks to ensure inbound and outbound goods are being identified * Close Management and support of Section Leaderto ensure key targets are met * Monitor & manage sickness, absence and holiday levels * Ensure that all required reporting documentation/manifests are maintained to the required standard & timescales All About You You will have the passion, drive and confidence to work with the depot and across the Team. Essential Skills for the role: * Experience of Distribution Management * Key understanding of KPI's and their drivers * Ability to succeed in a fluid and fast moving environment * Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment * Great Motivational Skills & effective in cross functional working * PC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office * Effective communicator - able to liaise at all levels * Flexible approach to work.
