Job Description

In view of heightened expectations from regulators and to ensure a strong and consistent global control environment, the Markets and Securities Services business is enhancing the Business Control and Supervision (BCS) function. In addition to this, BCS manages a number of high profile regulatory driven projects with critical completion deadlines within Global Markets. This role will be part of the BCS Infrastructure team, reporting to the Global Infrastructure Lead and will oversee the delivery of the Global P&L and PAA projects and connected workstreams. These projects are required to develop and roll out an enhanced systematic global T0 trader flash P&L infrastructure and enhanced PAA analysis framework across all businesses and locations in Global Markets. The role will involve oversight of the front office project team responsible for the rollout of front office components of the enhanced infrastructure and its seamless interaction with 2nd line infrastructure, working within the multi-disciplinary project team represented by front office technology and finance as well as front office trading staff. This is a major project impacting multiple locations and many front office staff globally, communication across all businesses is critical as is a structured and methodical approach to the rollout of the enhanced infrastructure. This project will continue to 2020, after which, the incumbent will oversee the ongoing global process. The incumbent will also be engaged in other ad-hoc front office led assignments such as a review of stale pricing controls. **Responsibilities:** + Leading the front office project team responsible for drafting project plans, agreeing plans with project members and stakeholders, tracking project status, reporting issues and following up to ensure issues are addressed + Working closely with the wider project teams (eg. 2nd line control function members and Technology) ensure a fully integrated front to back infrastructure is delivered according to project plan and associated timelines. + Oversee execution of the project across all global markets businesses in a consistent manner ensuring clear communication of business requirements and process changes to all Markets businesses globally. This will include setting up and running asset class specific working groups to ensure clear and complete communication of project requirements and to track and monitor each business's progress against scheduled milestones and completion dates. + Attend, present and prepare updates on project status and issues at various project, governance and senior stakeholder forums (steering groups, working groups, control committees) + Interact with Audit and other Control groups to provide project status and as required, drive forward other related control enhancement initiatives and investigate control failures. **Qualifications and skills:** + Undergraduate degree required. Master's degree preferred. + Experience in delivering change-related projects + Strong influence management and relationship skills + Leadership skills in bringing together processes that include different businesses, regions and support functions. + Specific subject matter expertise in global markets traded products together with associated P&L and PAA calculation and reporting practices. + Effective negotiation skills, a proactive and "no surprises" approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent reviews. + Experience in a Markets/ICG control related roles + Demonstrated strong business maturity in past roles + Excellent communicator - internal and external + Global mindset, with regional/product understanding + Strong Financial skills, analytical skills, strategic planning and problem solving skills + Advanced Excel and database management skills. ----- Grade :All Job Level - All Job FunctionsAll Job Level - All Job Functions - GB ----- Time Type : ----- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
