**For Current Kite Pharma Employees and Contractors:** Please log onto your Internal Career Site at to apply for this job **Job Description** As Director, Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR), this position will be responsible for the development of HEOR strategies and tactical execution of Kite cell therapies leading up to and during their international (i.e., European, Australian, & Canadian) launches with particular emphasis on supporting the adaptation of global economic models and the development of related HEOR data to meet country-specific health technology assessment (HTA) requirements. This role will collaborate extensively with our global HEOR (GHEOR) team and country market access colleagues to support their reimbursement/dossier submissions and negotiation preparation. Department Description As Director, HEOR you'll be joining a newly formed team in which people of all backgrounds and experiences are respected, and where working together focused on saving lives, by finding the cure for cancer, is a daily activity. You'll be reporting to the Senior Director, HEOR and work closely with the international commercial organization, GHEOR, and global marketing organizations to support a best-in-class HEOR team. Your Responsibilities _Your responsibilities, among others, will be:_ + Collaborate with country-based colleagues to adapt/develop country-specific economic models to prepare reimbursement submissions, and present economic evidence to HTA organizations. + Work closely with internal teams to adapt the global value story (GVD), reimbursement support materials, payer objection handler, and other evidence-based materials that demonstrate product value in a manner that is meaningful to national and regional payers. + Support the development of EU Market access plans and associated strategies through Market Access collaborations + Support local markets with data requests to strengthen value demonstration during reimbursement processes + Provides internal training on HEOR methodologies and data results to key internal colleagues + Interfaces with cross-functional partners in Market Access, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Legal/Compliance, and Commercial in the development of HEOR strategy and evidence generation + Represents Kite for EU-HEOR-related activities at external professional and scientific meetings + Works closely with scientific communications, publications and other home office and field colleagues to ensure scientific conference material is appropriate, relevant and accurate Your Profile The ideal candidate for this position will have; + Advanced degree in the life sciences (PharmD, PhD, MD) or dual degree in related scientific field; will also consider a MS in an outcomes-related field (e.g., Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, and Pharmacy Administration), a PharmD with HEOR-related education and/or Fellowship experience, or an MPH/MS who has strong relevant experience + Previous industry experience within health economics and outcomes research, with clinical background or research experience necessary to support EU Market Access + Strong technical reading, writing and communication skills + Presentation and strong research experience with Market Access customers + Prior corporate experience in hematology/oncology therapeutic area is highly preferred **Additional Requirements** + Strong research design, modeling, and analytic skills + European market access and economic modelling experience. + In-depth and current understanding of international HEOR/payer environment, including reimbursement decision-making and HTA processes. + Experience in adapting global economic/budget impact models and other support materials to meet country-specific HTA requirements. + Demonstrated experience with international product launches and supporting their efforts on a country-by-country basis. + Superior written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in communicating technical information to varied internal and customer audiences + Refined methodological, quantitative and analytical skills + Demonstrated ability to manage a large number of complex projects + High level strategic thinking, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills + Experienced in influencing strategy with internal and external customer aud
