Job Description
**Role Summary:** As integral part of the regional services sales organization, as the sales specialist you will be responsible for the finding and converting sales leads into sales opportunities and ultimately into direct sales orders (covering Rotating Machines). **Essential Responsibilities:** The Sales specialist for Services will be responsible for the successful development and conversion of the provided qualified leads through direct customer engagement and in close coordination with the applicable quoting teams. Increase the pipeline of short & medium-term enquiries by identifying and 'creating' new opportunities with the customer. You will be responsible for generating leads as well as receiving qualified leads from the inside sales origination team and will have to establish a direct customer relationship utilising the customer specific installed base sales campaigns and/or presenting the entire RM services portfolio. + For key opportunities develop our negotiation position + Work with technical, commercial, legal & senior leadership, where appropriate, to build the winning team + Pro-actively negotiate with the customer to order close-out + Cover a variety of solution and market areas but specifically rotating machines and excitation systems + Provide sales support for solutions and services delivered out of the UK and primarily booked under the UK P&L + Activity will be largely focused in the UK & Ireland however there will be opportunity for some overseas travel and support largely in APAC, SSA and the Nordics + Accountable for the set quarterly and annual Sales plan targets (orders, revenues / book & bill margins and number of weekly direct customer contacts) + Execute a rigors schedule to ensure regular direct customer in order to build the required customer relationship execute a rigors schedule to ensure regular direct customer in order to build the required customer relationship + Identify the 'untapped' customer base and execute a rigors schedule to ensure regular direct customer in order to build the required customer relationship + Develop, implement and drive strategies (externally and internally) to maximize to conversion of qualified leads (or for 'untapped' customers) into book & bill opportunities + Coordinate with the respective quoting teams in order to structure winning proposals + Single point of customer contact in order to address commercial and technical requirements for the aforementioned proposals, including technical presentation to all levels of the customer organization + Interface with the various internal stakeholders (regional and hq) to ensure a coordinated and compliant sales process (including pacing, booking and handover as required) + Participate in the overall commercial process rhythm + Timely maintain and provide accurate SFDC opportunity records + Engage with regional ITO / OTR teams in order to address customer challenges raised during customer engagements **Qualifications/Requirements:** + Professional degree from an accredited school or equivalent knowledge or experience + Strong experience in salesApplications from job seekers who require sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications.
