Job Description
**Role Summary:** The Sales Manager will develop the Marine Offshore business within the allocated territories. Through implementing initiatives to increase sales that support the Company's strategic market goals. Acting and maintaining a strong relationship with the Company's Market Leaders and supporting the business strategy to build the associated market segment **Essential Responsibilities:** + Initiating contacts, visits and developing the relationships at all relevant levels with major Marine Offshore owners, operators and yards. + With the Business Leader and working with the Sales Application teams, develop and establish the business marketing strategy for the offshore New Equipment and Services market. + Plans and organizes the sales approach to assure the most effective development of sales opportunities from the installed base to meet sales targets. + Presents and positions the Company and offerings in order to be included on the approved and preferred supplier list. + Responds to inquiries from potential customers with an interest in the Company. + Develop and lead the bidding strategy. Coordinates tender and bid activities with other units as required. + Takes the proposals from the Comm Ops team and presents them to customers. Negotiate the offer and close the deal. + Maintains contact with trade associations to promote the Company's products, systems and services. + Liaise with the other Regional Sales Managers to create an effective global sales network. + Other duties may be assigned by management to meet business needs. **Qualifications/Requirements:** + Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technology or related field or equivalent knowledge or experience + Proven Marine, Oil and Gas experience in a commercial selling role. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, drives, and automation systems. + Ability to travel to overseas destinations on short notice and for periods as the role demands at least 40% of time."
