ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Build a portfolio of high value data management and services products that addresses the unmet needs in the global marketplace from a patient, payer & physician perspective. Support the regions in maximising the value of in-market CV assets, In association with med affairs & market access, ensuring that the global core claims matrix, global clinical & health economic data set are kept up to date and that a robust publications plan is in place to support the lifecycle of the CV assets in market Consistently updates product profiles to ensure consistent, up-to-date data and provide input and updates to the CV brand book Ensure robust life-cycle management strategies are in place for managed assets and that phase-out plans are developed in collaboration with the regions & supply chain and are communicated in a timely and appropriate way Moreover, he/she is responsible of delivering with R&D an aligned, insights-based, strategic roadmap for his/her own portfolio, defining the value proposition for new products & services, and driving in close collaboration with cross-functional Global and Regional Teams the global launch plans and phase-out plans for own products and services. It' a home office-based position with 50% of travels. (Mainly to Mirandola - Italy) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES): Existing Portfolio * Ensure that phase-out plans for specific area are developed in collaboration with the regions & global operations and are communicated in a timely and appropriate way * Provide input into the development of an annual global brand plan, including annual global revenue forecasts, for in-market assets in collaboration with the regions * Provide input into publication plans for in-market assets to maintain noise in the marketplace and advance the evidence base for in-market assets in collaboration with med affairs/R&D * Ensure global core claims matrix is current and reflects the positioning of CV asset(s) managed, available evidence base and the brand strategy * Ensure complete familiarity with global studies/programmes to support in-market assets and progress vs plan * Ensure regional demand plans are delivered by global supply chain for product area In association with med affairs and corporate competitive intelligence function, perform competitor landscape assessments and tracks competitor pipeline activity and ensures LivaNova's strategies are reflective of the competitive landscape * Work with the CV marketing lead to develop and maintain consistent brand guidelines for promoted products and build brand equity globally * Contribute to Therapeutic Area Brand Book development for own portfolio, including claim matrixes and product profile Roadmap * Collaborate closely with regions and cross functions to ensure a collaborative and aligned approach to value creation for pipeline Gather insights through market research activities, customer visits, partnerships with key sales, clinical and medical stakeholders to inform global strategy and relevant tactics * Structure and implement VOCs and UCD (user centric design) activities to define marketing unmet needs and their translation into user requirements for new product/therapies, working in strong collaboration with the R&D teams on New Product Development Initiatives * Define target product profile document to determine for own portfolio and roadmap, coordinating cross functional input * Work collaboratively with R&D/Med Affairs and Programme Management on evidence generation for pipeline assets ensuring regional requirements are heard/incorporated * Provide input into publication plans for pipeline assets * Collaborate closely with PHEMAR function on the establishment of pricing research & pricing corridors for each asset prior to launch and on the development of value dossiers & global heath economic models/frameworks * Develop business cases for future opportunities: short and long term growth opportunities in the perfusion segment, driven by data and services * Identifies appropriate intellectual property secured for key assets in key markets QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: * At least 4-5 years experience in marketing roles, preferably at global level * Degree in scientific/engineering disciplines. (Master in Marketing Management is preferred) * Strong experience in Medical devices segment * English Fluent both verbal and written * Experience in data management and services * Depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite * Good public speaking experience and excellent written presentation abilities * Ability to maintain high level conversations with customers Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: LivaNova values equality and celebrates diversity.
