What we're looking for: We have a vacancy for a Sourcing Manager within our Procurement Supply Chain division in our IT & BPO Category. To thrive in this role you'll need to demonstrate extensive sourcing experience and be adept at building business requirements for the short and long term. You also need to be a commercial leader who can drive complex projects to conclusion. You are an IT category expert who has a keen insight and understanding of business requirements on a 1-3 year horizon. You'll be a self starter, and have the ability to advise, guide and influence stakeholders. Who you'll be working with: Our Procurement function's operating model combines Commercial Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Development into a single centralised function with redefined ways of working to improve the operational efficiency, but also significantly improve the effectiveness of third party engagement to ensure appropriate service and risk management at best value. What you'll be doing: * Direct responsibility for the development and delivery of sourcing and contracting strategies across a portfolio of strategic categories (mainly software) and suppliers * Completing complex sourcing initiatives against plan * Developing detailed category plans aligned to the business and DLG strategies * Leading and implementing contractual arrangements that are aligned with supplier and relationship strategies * Liaising with senior internal stakeholders to influence and define the contracting and sourcing strategy development and implementation. * You will be responsible, along with other sourcing professionals for all DLG's external supplier spend within the designated category of expertise, driving meaningful results for DLG What we'll give you: We have a strong focus on developing you and your skill set and work hard to give you the tools to do so.
