Objective: To lead the marketing function and cross functional matrix team to define, develop and deliver the brand strategy and operational plans. Achieve defined annual sales target by optimizing the use of promotional resources. Highlighted Key responsibilities include: + Lead the marketing function and full line management responsibility for the people within designated team including, personal development, performance management, and creating an environment where the AbbVie way behaviors can flourish + Lead the matrix team development of strategic brand plans that aligns to global strategy while adapting to local affiliate insights and marketing dynamics + Lead the matrix team development and execution of tactical brand plans that align to brand strategy and meet budget / timing expectations + Deliver operational excellence across the brand plan matrix, including the definition and refinement of brand KPIs + Responsible for marketing budget allocation and overall brand team budget management + Detailed knowledge and understanding of therapeutic area, market, and brand performance data + Develop and maintain long-term customer relations with key external stakeholders, including external experts, and advocacy groups + Evaluate, localize, and execute brand strategies while creating innovative solutions to capitalize on market opportunities and deliver customer value + Represent UK affiliate with global and area marketing teams regarding global and area brand campaigns Qualifications, Knowledgeand Experience + Highly competent marketeer ideally with CIM, degree orpost grad qualifications inMarketing + PreviousPharmaceutical experience is a must, experience in a specialistmedicines/biologics or rare diseases is preferred + Capability to lead cross functional teams and excel inmatrix environment + Able to coach, manage and lead through line managementand through influencing where there is no direct authority + Demonstrates an understanding of the challenges faced byour customers and patients + Relevant strategic and operational experience and proventrack record of success + Ability to challenge status quo and contribute at ahigher strategic level Additional Information + Travel: Yes, 10 % of the Time + Job Type: Experienced + Schedule: Full-time + Job Level Code: IC
