We are offering a great opportunity for talented, motivated, organised and results driven individuals to join our team as a Shunter. Based in our busy depot you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles between parking and loading bays. It is essential you have Category C&E entitlement on your licence to fulfil your Shunter duties, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles between parking and loading bays. You will carry out daily vehicle checks in line with TNT's policies and procedures and report any mechanical defects and undergo regular driving assessments and training as and when needed. You will be part of a fast paced team in a highly critical role which can be physically demanding at times, communication is key to your success and the smooth running of the Depot. To help protecting the company image and promoting our health and safety rules you will drive company vehicles in a safe and courteous fashion in accordance with the requirements of the Department of Transport and Highway Code. Customers are at the heart of everything we do so by delivering a great operational experience you are ensuring our customers receive their parcels on time and in great condition. You will also be supplied with full uniform, steel toe cap boots and a high visibility jacket. In return for your hard work and commitment, we'll give you all the reward and recognition you deserve.
