**Data****Analyst** We're hiring! McLagan are currently recruiting a Data Analyst.The Analyst role will sit within the Global Banks team with a focus on Securities Services and Transaction Banking and will play a role in delivering data-enabled solutions to our clients. The Analyst will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy and quality and will prepare reports and analyses for clients and internal stakeholders. Working within a designated team the role will enable the Analyst to contribute to business strategy, client management and business development. The role will give theAnalyst exposure both to internal stakeholders and clients. The Investment Services team plays a pivotal role within the Banks team, not only focusing on existing client delivery and engagement, but has a strong focus and mandate to identify and drive new business and product development with data and analytics at the core of finding new solutions for clients. About the Role As a Data Analyst some of your key responsibilities will involve: Support client teams on multiple assignments related to both our compensation and financial performance benchmarking products and consulting engagements. Analyse large client datasets related to both compensation and financial general ledger extracts for client engagements. This role sits within a small team and there will opportunity to take ownership of a number of products and processes at an early stage. Continue to develop existing processes to increase productivity and efficiencies within the team. Begin to build and take ownership of relationships with clients. Correspond with clients and deliver data-enabled solutions. Research existing and emerging trends in client businesses. Work with consultants to update competitive benchmarking program design and expand coverage. Prepare special reports and analyses geared toward presenting insights. Field client questions and deliver solutions. Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company. About you Your skills and qualifications will ideally include: Degree qualified in a numerate discipline. Excellent Excel and PowerPoint, Access skills essential. Knowledge of Tableau desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Creative and proactive problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and on a team on multiple projects. Ability to be flexible and work across various workstreams concurrently as required. Strong mathematical and/or analytical skills and careful attention to detail. An interest in compensation consulting and financial services / consulting services is essential.
