Role Summary: BHGE has current vacancies to recruit Apprentice Machinist's for their Completion & Well Intervention Manufacturing Team, these positions will be based at our Manufacturing Facility at Woodside Road, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. Essential Responsibilities: + Attendingboth college and the workplace during the apprenticeship + Completeall training modules successfully + Developmechanical knowledge and experience in the field of CNC machining + Increasehealth and safety awareness + Adhereto all company policies, procedures and operating manuals + Undertakework whilst ensuring clean housekeeping + Special projects as assigned. + AnyOther Duties as Required Qualifications/Requirements: + Aminimum of 2 National 5s (or equivalent qualifications) is essential, 1 ofwhich must be achieved in Maths. + PerformingEngineering Operations Level 2 Manufacture is essential + NClevel qualification (Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering) is preferred butnot essential Desired Characteristics: + Exposurewithin a workshop/NC/CNC machining would be beneficial + Aninterest in mechanics would be beneficial + Anunderstanding of health and safety for self + Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, andmemos. + Ability to work in a team and use owninitiative + Skilled in the use of Microsoft Officepackages, including e-mail would be beneficial + Organisational skills Locations: + Bridge of Don, Aberdeen This is your opportunity to learn more, do more, live the career you have imagined and be part of a truly diverse organization Baker Hughes, a GE company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
