MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide business process ownership and project management of key meetings and events capabilities, in partnership with WW Events Management, Congress Management, Channel Capabilities, IT Compliance and other Global Business Operations teams * Support HCP Capability lead in diagnosis of capability gaps, project mgmt. and sustainability efforts * Champion the Meetings and Events Maturity Model to identify, measure and deploy capability improvement efforts, such as: * HCP Information Collection Form (ICF) content and process * Contracting processes, including partnering with Vendor Master teams * HCP Meeting Program invitations * Survey pull-through and analysis Design and Implementation Responsibilities: * Guides colleagues across the globe in HCP meetings processes, defining transformational and continuous improvement initiatives based on company direction, industry trends and analytical rigor * Support design and deployment of HCP tools and processes * Analyze existing processes, forms and systems to understand current state and areas for improvement for future state * Facilitate discussions with stakeholders supporting a simplified approach * Partners with process and system owners in all area involved in the HCP meetings and events experience * Manages the Key Performance Indicators for HCP meetings to monitor outcomes and identify areas to improve the landscape * Proactively communicates capabilities to ensure BMS stakeholders are operating efficiently, knowledgably and compliantly * Supports the creation of Change Management and Training Materials as needed * Recommend process improvements discovered through performance monitoring KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and COMPETENCIES: * Business or Technical undergraduate degree, Master degree desirable * 5-7 Years professional experience in the Pharmaceutical, IT or Consulting practices * Experience leading or supporting global initiatives from concept through close-out * Experience supporting enterprise systems and large-scale process and system related change initiatives * Experience partnering with remote teams * Strong knowledge analyzing business processes and issues and training others * Strong quantitative and analytical skills and training others * Expertise in SAP functional areas utilized by BMS a plus * Expertise of Global HCP processes also a plus, in order to act as Subject Matter Expert across the following areas: Contract Management; Payment Management; Meeting Management; Reporting / Data Analytics; Legal / Regulatory / Compliance Needs * Demonstrates ability to deal with unstructured, relatively difficult assignments that will require effective communication and organization skills * Establishes strong working relationships with Leadership, key stakeholders and team with a focus on Change Agility, Enterprise and Growth Mindsets * Strong interpersonal and influencing skills are necessary * Ability to operate through influence rather than authority * Ability to assess and promptly resolve problems DEVELOPMENTAL VALUE: Develop Continuous Improvement skills and experiences: * Learn and develop the knowledge of Pharmaceutical Meetings Management * Advocate and develop business process improvements and enhancements * Serve as a team representative on process transformation and implementation teams * Develop the ability to understand and assimilate a broader range of information solutions that can enable business needs Develop Finance Integrity skills and experiences: * Serve as a subject matter expert on HCP control procedures; provides appropriate guidance and direction to business partners Develop Professional Relationship Management skills and experiences: * Viewed as a trusted advisor and develops diverse business relationships and teams * Develop the ability to effectively communicate, impact, and influence various levels of management/staff within BMS * Demonstrates strong negotiation and persuasion skills; manages a variety of viewpoints to create positive outcomes for all parties * Exposure to senior management while gaining a heightened awareness of the importance of cross-functional networks to achieve business results Bristol-Myers Squibb recognizes the importance of balance and flexibility in our work environment.
