Role Summary: To support the increasing global network within BHGE we are expanding our Network team with an opportunity for an experienced senior network security engineer. The successful candidate will be part of a global team responsible for BHGE's network security design and roadmap, will drive continuous improvement and be a subject matter expert resolving any critical issues that may be escalated. Essential Responsibilities: + Influences the design / engineering of the environmentsthey support + Lead major global programs or technical engineering anddesign work + Responsible for complex/critical incidenttroubleshooting, complex change implementation, and work on critical hub/core environments + Provide highest level support and escalation of criticalnetwork security-related incidents and outages from BHGE Network OperationsCenter + Lead technical resolution of network-related MajorIncidents working with multiple teams on outage bridges + Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation + Work with internal and external stakeholders to developsolutions Qualifications/Requirements + Bachelor'sDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or major equivalent work experience + CCIE Security certified, Palo Alto Networks CertifiedNetwork Security Engineer (PCNSE) or equivalent certification. Desired Characteristics: + Excellent communication skills: clear written andverbal communication. Ability to collaborate with subject matter expertsand influence the future direction of the products / services that aresupported + Excellent collaboration skills: ability to work withother network operations engineers and cross-functional peers + Deep understanding of network security technologieswhich must include Palo Alto platform + Solid understanding of networking technologies, routing,switching, LAN/WAN & cloud connectivity + Self-motivated and passionate about learning newtechnologies. + Excellent understanding of network terminology,troubleshooting concepts, and full stack connectivity + Ability to lead mission based teams to roll outprograms / technologies / tools on a global basis. + Ability to identify the steps needed to accomplish a taskand to lead an initiative / project manage it to completion. + Ability to lead multiple teams of engineers to completecritical programs simultaneously. + Strong ability to work on major outages whilemaintaining the ability to think critically and remain calm and composed.Ability to proactively identify areas of need and lead the effort toremediate them. + Experience working in a diverse, globally distributedteam + Knowledge and experience of working within an ITILframework Locations: Aberdeen, United Kingdom This is your opportunity to learn more, do more, live the career you have imagined and be part of a truly diverse organization Baker Hughes, a GE company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
