Job Description
ANCHOR Outpatients and Day Treatment Department (including Ward 307, Ward 310, Haematology Outpatient Department and Clinic D) have a vacancy for a friendly, enthusiastic, motivated, hardworking band 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker. Applicants should have an interest in working in an area caring for patients with malignant and non-malignant disorders including Haemophilia. As the department is a very busy area the successful candidate must be able to work under pressure, be a good team player, and have the ability to prioritise, plan and organise patient care for their allocated workload. Excellent communication skills, reliability, punctuality and a positive work attitude is a necessity. This is a rotational post. The successful candidate will be required to work in both the outpatient department which is open Monday to Friday 0900-1700 hours and day treatment department which is open Monday to Friday 0800-1830 hours. Our department is presently planning a service in the new ANCHOR centre therefore the successful applicant will be joining our team at a very exciting time.
