Line of Service Tax Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism General Tax Consulting Management Level Senior Associate Job Description & Summary A career within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions. Our team helps our clients identify and reduce tax risks, meet compliance obligations, implement tax strategies that complement business and operational objectives, resolve disagreements with tax authorities, and manage tax accounting and reporting issues. You'll be engaged in projects dealing with International tax, mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax accounting, regulatory processes, tax reporting and strategy. Day-to-Day Responsibilities : * Manage, direct and monitor multiple client services teams on client engagements * Plan, execute, direct and complete tax project in a wide variety of industries * Provide innovative tax planning, consulting and compliance expertise to clients and mange to budget * Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change effort effectively * Consult, work with and service client to make recommendations on business and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to client. Publication translation communication * Develop the content that responses to the Chinses client's needs * Translate English Tax Insight, Legal insight, Tax Newsletter into Chinese * Deliver the translated publication or materials with impact and quality. * Store, file and manage the translated materials in database properly. Manage social sites * Update and monitor social sites in assigned territories * Monitor and response the inquiries Event management * Design, plan and propose the events with the budget that drive business outcome. * Accountable for events arrangement (sending invitation letter, reservation of accommodation for participants, manage event agenda, materials, etc. * Ensure the events' effectiveness and meet business objective. * Provide periodic progress reports to leader. * Assess and measure the success of event management to ensure the satisfaction of clients. * Act as the point of contact as needed. Administrative support * Provide assistance to leader in the area of business development * Update the related databases * Take minutes of meeting * Search, gather and prepare the client and market information in proactive manner * Other as assigned.
