Product & Capability Trainer Description What we do matters\. In short we work to make the world safer\. As part of the Customer Services department, the role of Product & Capability Trainer will support the Training & Technical Services Manager in all aspects of Electronic Warfare \(EW\) training development and delivery\. What will the role entail? + Design and produce training packages at an appropriate level in line with contracted customer requirements or internal product development\. + Prepare and deliver customer training and L3 TRL internal staff training on current EW products\. Training will be delivered either at L3 TRL sites or customer's sites, both in the UK and overseas + Provide support to the sales team during demonstrations, technical trials and exhibitions + Provide input and estimated to L3 TRL competitive Bids + Assist with the preparation and conduct of competitive field equipment trials in order to develop optimal capability and performance + Assist with the development of EW products providing stakeholder input of requirements that identify and meet defence customer requirements What skills do I need to be successful? + Strong background in Electronic Warfare \(EW\), with a solid understanding of the EW domain and associated technologies and equipment + Specialist experience in field deployment and operation of military EW equipment + A good knowledge of the tactics, techniques and procedures associated with EW operations + Background in the development of training material and standard operating procedure + Experience of delivering successful training on high technology professional and/or military products + Sound working knowledge of modern radio communications principles and associated technologies, including understanding of common modulation techniques + Ability to work as part of a multi discipline team + Computer literate with sound working knowledge of MS Windows and Office suite of applications What skills would be desirable? + Recognised training qualification \(PTLLS, CTLLS, CIPD or equivalent\) + Understanding of IP networking techniques and principles + Experience of Satellite communications equipment + Knowledge of worldwide terrorist tactics Please note you must h old a valid driving licence to effectively cover multiple customer sites and be flexible to travel and prepared to visit customer sites in the UK and overseas for both short and extended periods\.
