We're turning our brands into digital leaders and revolutionising how people use our products and services, and we are on the lookout for UI Engineers to join our ever-growing Digital Department in Bromley. You'll have a huge passion for tech and a proactive approach, constantly on the lookout for new ways of working and thinking outside the box! With a dedicated background in building and maintaining applications using Angular and/or AngularJS, you'll also have In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript and CMS development. Additionally, you'll need experience of unit testing using Jasmine or Karma and be confident at working with and managing code repositories. Who you'll be working with: Join us and you'll find an in-house role with a start-up feel - we're a diverse, dedicated team of digital professionals re-inventing the digital experience for our customers, our people and our partners. We have a really strong UI community and hold our own ceremonies and weekly meetings - there are around 35 of us across the department! You'll work agilely as part of a Scrum Team alongside Product Owners, Designers and other Engineers. Check out our Digital video for a real feel for what it's like to work with us - What you'll be doing: * Build and maintain web applications using Angular and/or AngularJS. * Work with QA engineers to build robust unit tests using tools such as Jasmine and Karma. * Develop responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, SCSS and JavaScript/TypeScript, working from Sketch files delivered by our in-house design team. * Work with code repositories, using version control such as Git. * Perform cross-browser testing and build resilient pages using progressive enhancement. * Understand the importance of front end methodologies, such as BEM for CSS. * What we'll give you: Come onboard and you'll find yourself working within one of the most on the go departments in the business.
